Identify Berkeley Springs Jane Doe! She is an unidentified female. She was found deceased in 1950. Her case report NamUs UP # 10026. Berkeley Springs Jane Doe was found on May 10, 1950. Her approximate estimated age, at her death, was 35 to 50 years old. Berkeley Springs Jane Doe was estimated to be 5’5″ tall and 130 pounds at the time of her discovery. Her hair was red/auburn. It is described as being curly, with a perm that was recent (shortly before her death). Berkeley Spring Jane Doe’s eye color is unknown. Piercings were not noted. A DNA sample reportedly has been submitted for her, and tests are complete. Dental charting is available and entered.

Descriptions

Berkeley Springs Jane Doe had a Y-shaped scar on the outside of her right wrist. It was approximately 3″ long. She had a W shaped scar in the center of her forehead. This unidentified female had two surgical scars. One is a one a 10″ hysterectomy scar. The other is a 4″ appendectomy scar. This unidentified female had freckles on the back of her hands and her lower arms. Her hands were very small. Her shoe size was 4 1/2 narrow. She had prior surgery. These include a hysterectomy and an appendectomy.

A hunter discovered Berkeley Springs Jane Doe’s body. He was mushroom hunting along U.S. Route 5222. Very few details are known about the circumstances of this unidentified female’s discovery.
