Beth Ellen Vinson’s had left her home in Goldsboro, North Carolina. She was 17 years old. Vinson went to Raleigh to work and save enough money to to get to New York. Approximately four weeks later, her body was found on August 23, 1994. This older teen’s body was covered with cardboard. It was left between two warehouses on Wicker Road. Beth Vinson had worked for an escort service. Beth Ellen Vinson was last seen at 2:30 A.M. on August 16, 1994. She had left her apartment to meet a client.

More Circumstances

Three hours passed since Beth was last seen. At 5:30 A.M., her 1990 white four door Mazda 626 was found abandoned. It was located at the entrance of a car dealership on Capital Boulevard. Forensic medical examination revealed that Beth Ellen Vinson had been stabbed over 15 times. The investigation of her homicide revealed, on the morning of her homicide, Beth had four pieces of jewelry. She also had a multi-colored cloth purse on the morning of her homicide. Reportedly, these items have never been found.

There are descriptions of the items Beth had with her on the morning she was killed. Their representations are shown on the top poster. Beth had a Spoon Ring. (shown on lower left ext to bottom). This ring was made from sterling silver spoon (1970). It was Gorham brand and Chantilly pattern, size 6.Beth had a Mother’s Ring. (shown on far bottom left). This ting was 14k gold, 2 Amethyst stones on the outside. It has one Garnet stone in the center and is a size 6.

More Descriptions

Beth Ellen Vinson had more items on the morning she was killed. One was a Mood Ring. (shown at the top right). It is silver (faux), white stone that gets darker with body heart and is a size 6. Beth had an Amethyst ring. (shown at top right on the right of the Mood Ring.) It is ladies, yellow gold, amethyst (purple) stone. It has diamond chips, is a stackable type ring and is a size 6.

Beth had a Pull String Shoulder Bag. (shown under her rings at middle right). The purse was made of cloth material. It was a burgundy-burnt orange and brown. It was 6″ by 4 1/2 tall. It had black shoulder straps. The figure of a cowboy was woven into the material. It had a zipper on the top with a leather strap.
