WASHINGTON, D.C.–The Metropolitan Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating then-17-year-old Veatrice Pelzer. She may be 18 or even 19 years old now. This teen girl was last seen in the 3300 block of Blaine Street, Northeast. She was seen on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at 5:00 P.M. This incident was reported on June 5, 2017.

Veatrice Pelzer is described as an African-American female. She was 5’9” in height and 120 pounds at the time of her disappearance. Veatrice has with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing unknown clothing. It is unknown what Veatrice was wearing when she was last seen or who saw her. Nor is it known what her mode of transportation was or if she took anything with her. Information in her case is limited.

Veatrice Pelzer has been missing for 18 months, one year and a half. She may have not been considered critically missing at the time. Foul play may not have been suspected then. Is she being held against her will? Could someone have approached her, groomed her, and lured her into vanishing in order to be with them?
