It was the Labor Day weekend. And it was between noon and 4:00 P.M. on September 2, 1977. When last seen, Simone was leaving her job at the Rainbow Restaurant. It was on 9 South Main Street in Natick, Massachusetts. Simone left to hitchhike to Cape Cod, Massachusetts. This is where her family’s home, in Martha’s Vineyard, was. And she has never been seen or heard from since. And for many years, the restaurant was the last place anyone reported seeing her. But in 1986, a witness came forward. He said that he gave Simone a ride in the morning of September 3. That was the day after her disappearance.

I like that a Mass State Trooper allegedly pulls over a motorist for a traffic violation. Then he asks the driver to drop off this female hitchhiker that he has in his vehicle.

I am missing something about that story. There should be a record of a trooper either coming across a hitchhiker. Also, if he turned her over to a motorist.

Also, how far was Martha Vineyard from where she was working. I don’t understand why her family did not give her the money to cover travel to their home.

Maybe the alleged driver did something to her. Also, why not help her call her family so they could pick her up at where ever he dropped her off.
