Find Missing Sarah Ann Norfleet! Sarah Ann Norfleet has been missing since June 20, 1993. She is missing from Bountiful, Utah. A Violent Criminal Apprehension Program (ViCAP) Alert has been issued for Sarah Ann Norfleet. The FBI issues ViCAP Alerts for certain missing or unidentified persons when foul play is suspected in their cases. She is classified as an endangered missing person. Norfleet was born in the year 1975. At the time of her disappearance, Sarah was 18 years. Her current age is 42 or 43 years old. It is unknown what she was wearing when last seen.

Descriptions

Sarah Ann Norfleet is described as a Bi-racial female. She is as a mixture of Asian and Caucasian. Norfleet is described as 5’2″ to 5’4″ tall and 132 to 145 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes. Norfleet reportedly has previously fractured her upper and lower jaw on both sides. And she has surgical plates with pins in her maxilla (the upper jaw). Norfleet was born with a cleft palate and had it surgically repaired. She has a scar on the center of her throat.

Circumstances

It was June 20, 1993, in Bountiful, Utah. Norfleet was last seen when friends dropped her off at her residence. Sarah has never been heard from again. She left behind all her personal belongings. These include clothing, make-up, and hygiene items. Norfleet had been last seen and missing for two and a half months. But it wasn’t until then, September 3, that her loved ones reported her as missing. Her family explained this by stating that it was not unusual for Sarah to drop out of sighting for a few days. And they thought she had “just run away” again.

A Suspect

Richard L. Sattler is the only suspect in Sarah Ann Norfleet’s disappearance. He had worked as a church janitor in Bountiful. But he quit the job around the time Norfleet disappeared. In October 1993, he had been in jail for unrelated charges of kidnapping and robbery. This was when investigators questioned him. But he denied knowing anything about Sarah’s disappearance. Authorities have not disclosed why Sattler is a suspect in Norfleet’s disappearance. His current whereabouts are unknown.

Further Thoughts

Sarah Ann Norfleet was unemployed. And she reportedly had no money at the time of her disappearance. She is originally from Fort Bliss, Texas and had lived with friends in Salt Lake City, Utah. She had lived there for a time before moving back into her family’s residence in May 1993. She volunteered with the Utah AIDS foundation. Her family believes she met with foul play. For according to them, it is uncharacteristic of her to be out of touch with her loved ones. She has never been found.
