How We Can Help

Only limited information is available in Richard Ingram’s case. At least, I found more in Internet than in Facebook searches. Nor does the story of his family seem to be known. Wherever they are or their story, it’s safe to assume that they are in angst over Richard and don’t know if he’s safe. It’s especially disturbing as he was said to have suicidal thoughts. And the passage of time missing means that he may have become a victim of foul play. Being a ViCAP subject means that foul play is suspected in his case. Someone (s) knows something that can help find Richard and return him to his family.

This is my dad and we assumed a long long time ago that he is dead. Dad was never the kind of person who could stay away from us kids or family. He was a family man through and through. He is dearly missed but we have come to accept that we will never see him again in this life. My son is the only one of the grandkids to ever get to meet him. He’s often sad he no longer has a grandfather. My dad was an amazing man and an amazing father. He is very dearly loved still to this day. The hardest part is knowing we will never really know what happened. But we have declared him legally dead and held a family Memorial. Additionally the military declared him dead as well with full honors. He has a twin brother and had three biological children and two of us that he adopted. His heart and love for others was Limitless.

I was one of your dad’s housekeepers at building 2493. I never believed your dad ran off either. He was a good guy and his disappearance always haunted me. People from his unit at the time told us that he ran off to start a new life. I never believed that. I remember the last day that we saw him, the day he returned from Germany . He was quite upset because one of his higher ups in command was trying to get him in trouble for leaving early on his leave, when he’d already been told before he bought his plane ticket that that would be find. And then putting him on staff duty the day off his fight. That was bs. He seemed a little bothered that Friday before we left him. Never thought this would happen. It was quite a shock for us when we walked into him room. The following Monday. We were the ones who notified the mps.
