Find missing Reverend Clement Thibodeau! This missing priest is 85 years of age, a senior citizen. Thibodeau allegedly went missing from Reno’s Family Restaurant. It’s located at 117 Sweden Street, in Caribou, Maine. Father Clement Thibodeau is a retired priest who lives in Caribou, Maine. This priest went missing on July 15, 2017. But, according to a comment on the Facebook page set up for him, Thibodeau was last seen leaving his apartment at 8:09 P.M. This was, according to the commenter, visible from the surveillance tape. It was seen at the Caribou Nursing Home that is across the street from his apartment.

More About Circumstances

It is confirmed that Reverend Clement Thibodeau is missing from home. He was last seen leaving there, courtesy of surveillance video. The video shows the Reverend leaving his home and getting into his vehicle. It is described as a 2013 dark gray Chevrolet Equinox. It has License Plate #638 A. He was seen doing this at 8:09 P.M. This corroborates the commenter cited above. The conflicting timeline and restaurant account may come from someone (s) who didn’t know of the surveillance video.

SAD UPDATE: The family and friends of Reverend Clement Thibodeau are presuming him deceased. His car and a body believed to be his, have been found.

It is with the heaviest of hearts that I must announce my uncle’s car and what authorities presume to be his body have been found. Words cannot begin to express how thankful I am to each and every one of you who have prayed, helped search, called me with your special stories about him, and/or offered words of encouragement and hugs. Father Clement Thibodeau has been a true inspiration to so many people, myself included. He is just one of those people that you look up to and aspire to be like. He has brought so much joy and love to me and my family and he will never be forgotten. Oh how I wish you were still here to share our silly jokes together. In the meantime, I know you are feeling pretty good about now for a man of your age which is older than dirt. And as far as the kids go, they are as bad as ever. Thank you for loving us like we were your own children, Brian included.

SAD UPDATE: The unidentified body is confirmed to belong to Reverend Clement Thibodeau.

The Medical Examiner has confirmed the remains of the body found on Saturday as those of my uncle Father Clement Thibodeau. He has been released and transported back to Caribou. Arrangements for the wake and funeral have been made. They are as follows:
Monday, October 9th, 2017
2:00 pm to 7:00 pm Viewing at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Caribou, Maine
5:00 pm Vespers at Holy Rosary Catholic Church
Tuesday, October 10th, 2017
10:00 am Funeral at Holy Rosary Catholic Church
Around 11:00 am the body will be transported to Sacred Heart Catholic Church in North Caribou, Maine for burial
After that time, people are invited back to Holy Rosary Catholic Church for a luncheon
A full obituary will be in the papers on Thursday.

After His Disappearance

Reportedly, Reverend Clement Thibodeau has ties to Eastern, Central, and Southern Maine. The Reverend also has ties to Waterville, Maine. This has been ever since he led a church there in the 1980’s. Thibodeau’s cell phone was in contact with the cell phone tower in Lee, Maine. This lasted for three days until the connection stopped. The last time anyone heard anything was was on July 18th. That’s when Thibodeau’s cell phone sent a signal from somewhere in wooded areas. These areas were in Washington, Penobscot, and Hancock Counties.

Reverend Clement Thibodeau is a Caucasian male. He is described as 6’2″ tall and weighs 250 pounds. He has brown eyes and gray hair. The Reverend isn’t known to have any distinguishing physical characteristics. Scars, tattoos, piercings, or birthmarks are unknown.

This retired priest’s family have no idea why he would be in Lee, Maine. This Reverend is at the age when he may have trouble remembering names, dates, and places. His disappearance is mysterious. Thibodeau has been missing for two weeks and his family, friends, and community want him home. Someone (s) knows something and needs to say what they know.
