Find Missing Randy Wayne Leach! Randy has been missing since April 15, 1988. He is missing from Linwood, Kansas. His case is classified as a non-family abduction. Leach was born in the year 1970. At the time of his disappearance, Randy was 17 years old. His current age is 47 years old. Randy Leach is a Caucasian male. He is described as 6’3″ and 220 pounds at the time of his disappearance. He has brown hair and blue eyes. At the time of his disappearance, Leach was wearing a blue pocket t-shirt and blue Levi’s jeans. He also wore white low-cut sneakers and white socks. Randy has a mole on his left ear.

It was April 15, 1988 in Linwood, Kansas. Randy Leach was attending Linwood High School as a senior. He reportedly left his home at 6:30 P.M. to go to a friend’s pre-graduation party in a rural area. It was five miles east of her residence. Before arriving at the party, he stopped at Stout’s convenience store and purchased some candy, soda pop, and gasoline. Then he talked to some friends. After that, Randy went to De Soto to check on the car he was restoring. Because of these errands, Randy didn’t make it to the party until between 9:30 P.M. and 10:00 P.M. He was driving his mother’s gray four-door 1985 Dodge sedan. IT had the Kansas license plate #: LVJ8721. Reportedly, he carried about $50 or $60 in cash.

At the party, between 70 and 150 guests reportedly attended. Most of the guests were teenagers. They heavily used the available drugs and alcohol. According to witnesses, Randy was acting drunk. But it’s reportedly unclear if he actually drank any alcohol. And he told a friend that he didn’t know what was wrong. He may have left the party between 1:30 and 2:00 A.M. But some witnesses reported seeing him there as late as 2:15 A.M. However, no one actually saw him leave. Randy Leach never returned home and was never heard from again. On April 16, 1988, Randy’s parents reported him missing. He had a 12:30 A.M. curfew the time he went missing Reportedly, he usually honored it.

On April 16, Randy Leach’s parents parents slept undisturbed throughout the night. It wasn’t until they woke up that they realized that their son was had not come home. They woke up at 6:00 A.M. At first, they thought that he had been in a car accident. And they called one of his friends. She said that she had not heard from him. It was then that Randy’s parents reported him missing. Then investigators went to the site of the party where Randy attended. However, it had already been cleaned up. No evidence could be found. Authorities do not believe that Randy Leach left on his own. That’s because he left behind the 1966 Dodge Mustang he was restoring. And his friends and family say that he had no plans to leave home.

Who Is Randy?

Randy Leach wasn’t sure what he wanted to do after finishing high school. But he was thinking of enrolling in trade school. Randy’s father describes him as an entrepeneur and a hard worker. Randy was an excellent student and enjoyed outdoor pursuits. In particular, he enjoyed fishing in 1988. Currently, Randy’s parents still lives in his old house. And they hope that some day they will get answers as to what happened to him. Shortly after Randy’s disappearance, a fire destroyed the house where the party was held. Rumors spread that a Satanic cult abducted and killed Randy. The cult supposedly was active in the Linwood area.

False Leads

Later, in 1998, a man told police that a cult held in a cave had kidnapped him. His abduction lasted for two weeks. And he had seen a corpse there that might have been Randy’s. Police searched the cave. However, they found no signs that a crime had been committed there. They decided that the man had hallucinated the experience while under the influence of drugs. In early 1993, three men were reportedly arrested on suspicion of Randy’s abduction and murder. But they were released without charges days later. And investigators admitted that they were mistaken about the men’s involvement in Randy’s case.

A Lead?

In March 1989, an unidentified adult male that Randy knew, one of the last people to see him, found a severed foot. He found it on the banks of the Kansas River. But it turned out that the foot was not Randy’s. According to Randy’s parents, the man drove past the house. Reportedly, he had gone only about 10 miles per hour in a 55 mile per hour zone. This was on the morning that they had discovered Randy’s disappearance. The individual has since died and it is not known if he anything to do with Randy’s disappearance. A few other people who attended the party that night are also deceased.

According to some reports, Randy left for the party at 6:30 P.M. In fact, that was when he reportedly left home to go to the party. In 2001, he was declared legally dead. In 2006, his disappearance got more publicity when a University of Kansas graduate student wrote a play about Randy’s case. It is titled Leaves of Words. It was performed in Lawrence, Kansas.

In about six months, Randy Leach will be missing for 30 years. This is no “milestone” that anyone wants ever reach or come close. Even one year missing is one year too long. Randy Leach’s and his family have missed 29 birthdays together. He and his family have missed 29 Christmases together. This year 2017, will Randy and his family miss another Christmas together? For over 29 years, Randy’s family have had no answers. For over 29 years, no one has been held accountable for Randy Leach’s mysterious disappearance. It is time for answers and justice. Someone (s) knows something about what happened to Randy Leach. It doesn’t have to be big information; it can be small.
