Find Missing Megan Leigh Jackson!

Find missing Megan Leigh Jackson! Megan Leigh Jackson was last seen in Pueblo, Colorado. She has been missing since August 23, 2017. Megan has disappeared before. But she has never been missing this long. Though Megan frequent posts on her social media accounts, she does none of this now. Calls to her cell phone go straight to her voicemail. Recently, Megan had a friend who was found murdered. Because of this, Megan’s mother fears that something bad may have happened to Megan.

Megan Leigh Jackson is a Caucasian female. She is 20 years old. She is described as 4’9″ and 142 pounds. She has reddish brown hair and blue eyes. Little physical description is provided. It is unknown what Megan was wearing when she was last seen. Nor is there description of any scars, birthmarks, tattoos, or piercings.

Megan’s family have updated her status and have posted material, dated for October 25, 2017. It’s a must-read!

Hello friends. I wanted to personally thank each and every one of you for your participation in getting Megan Jackson in contact with her family.
It really does take a village and I’m so heart warmed at the hundreds of family members, community members and virtual strangers that took this whole family into their hearts and worked until Megan was found. I know that later on, when it really matters, Megan will see and understand that SO many people love and care for her and her well being, SO many. So thank you, all of you for every single share, prayer, thought and action. You’re all angels.
I’ve put together a little info for all of you to keep and share if you so choose. There are so many misconceptions about adults being reported 3 days later etc that I want to make sure everyone is educated.
You have to wait 24 hours before reporting a missing person to the police.
Don’t Believe That!
Yet another myth brought to us by television and movies. Most such myths are harmless, but this one can literally mean the difference between life and death. Police officers stress the importance of reporting an unexplained absence as quickly as possible, especially if violence or suspicious circumstances are involved.
The first 12 to 24 hours are the most critical in an active missing persons investigation. The longer it takes for a case to be reported and become an active investigation, the less likely a positive outcome will occur.
The myth is so widely believed that government organizations have made it a priority to properly educate the public – not only in the United States, but all over the world. government publishes a fact sheet from the National Missing Persons Coordination Centre that states at the very top of the first page: You do not have to wait 24 hours before reporting someone as missing. There is no waiting period for filing a missing person report.
About 700,000 people are reported missing in the U.S. alone every year, but the great majority of those cases are favorably resolved. About 80,000 – 90,000 individuals are unaccounted for at any given time.
This is for a person of ANY age.

Find Missing Megan Leigh Jackson!
The Drug Addiction Connection

Sadly, it seems that drugs are involved in Megan’s case. The Fremont County PD have a WANTED poster for Megan, not a missing poster. It seems that drug use by missing persons hampers their search. Someone posted an angry comment about what the poster can do to the mother of this woman. It is heartbreaking. The comment under Megan’s WANTED poster contains profanity but shows the broken hearts of her family. So many families of missing loved ones with drug addictions, often testify as the the refusal of police to help them.

To all the fucking assholes, yes, she is on drugs, no one is defending her, but the pain my mother is going through watching her first born kill herself is heart breaking. So if you wanna be a little asshole, do it on your own page so a mother doesn’t have to see it. Imagine if it was your brother or sister, or child

How We Can Help

Sadly, Megan Jackson has been getting virtually no publicity. She doesn’t even receive local publicity. If foul play is suspected in her case, this is odd. She has been missing for almost a month. If no one knows that Megan Jackson is missing, how can she be found? The police Facebook page in her case, as so many do, seem to post only suspects. Not missing people. Hopefully the Facebook page set up for her will help make up for this. Someone has information that can bring Megan home and ease the fears of her loved ones.

Is this you? Do you have any information on the whereabouts of Megan Leigh Jackson? No information is too small. You can contact the Pueblo County Police Department at: (719) 583-6250. OR contact the Fremont County Sheriff’s Office at: (719) 784-3411. If you have seen Megan, call 9-1-1!

No results can be found of any press releases that confirm Megan’s disappearance. Even when I refined my search, virtually nothing came up.

Megan’s family have set up a Facebook page in her searh. Use Facebook? Consider clicking to “like” this page.
