Find Missing Marsha Ellen Brantley! Marsha Ellen Brantley has been missing since May 15, 2009. She is missing from Cleveland, Tennessee. Marsha Ellen Brantley is classified as an endangered missing person. Her year of birth is 1959. At the time of her disappearance, Marsha was 51 years old. Her current age is 59 years old. Marsha Ellen Brantley is a Caucasian female. Her hair is light brown and her eyes are blue. Marsha is described as 5’8″ tall and 125 pounds. Marsha’s maiden name is Rader and some accounts refer to her as Marsha Rader Brantley. It is unknown what Marsha was wearing at the time of her disappearance.

Circumstances

Marsha Ellen Brantley was last seen in Cleveland, Tennessee. She was last seen sometime in late May or early June 2009. She lived with her husband of nine years and three dogs. Marsha and her husband made their home in the Benwood subdivision of Cleveland at the time of her disappearance. Her parents are deceased and she has no children.

A friend reported Marsha missing in November 2009. This was after months without contact. When questioned by police, her husband, Donnie Ray Brantley, stated she had simply left him and they planned to get a divorce. Investigators searched her home for evidence. However, they didn’t find anything.

Investigation

Prior to her disappearance, Marsha enjoyed spending time in an RV she owned in Townsend, Tennessee. Authorities were unable to find the RV until November 2012. They located it when it turned up on property owned by Donnie’s family. Donnie was arrested at that time and charged with hindering a creditor. Authorities believe he was hiding the vehicle to keep it from being repossessed.

In August 2013, Donnie was additionally charged with Marsha’s murder. The charges were dropped for lack of evidence in 2014. However, Donnie was charged with murder again in December 2016. The prosecution dropped the case again in February 2018. But the charges were dismissed without prejudice. That meant that Donnie could be charged a third time if more evidence surfaces.

Marsha Ellen Brantley previously worked for Lee University. She enjoys hiking and other outdoor pursuits. And she is an award-winning writer. She is childless and her parents died in 2000. And she wasn’t close to any of her blood relatives. So it wasn’t for several months that her aunt in North Carolina found out she had disappeared.

Marsha Ellen Brantley’s body has never been found. Foul play is suspected in her case due to the circumstances involved.

Marsha Ellen Brantly has been missing for almost 9 years. It’s sad that Marsha had no close family relationships before she vanished. For some reason, she had no children. She was married but it apparently was a troubled marriage. Marsha’s parents were deceased. She was estranged from her other blood relatives. But because of her occupation, she had apparently cultivated relationships in her community. And this has helped her search. For her sake alone, Marsha deserves to be brought home.
