Leanne Clen Eller’s family last saw her in Garberville, California on June 15, 2017. She lived off Twin Trees Road in the Benbow area. It’s possible she hitched a ride to Whitethorn Construction and later to Shelter Cove. She has never been heard from again.

On July 26, Eller’s boyfriend called her mother to ask if she’d seen her. He was saying Eller had left without most of her belongings over a week earlier. And he hadn’t heard from her since then. Neither had her family. Few details are available in her case.

Leanne Clen Eller’s daughter posted this comment underneath an article, in February 2018:

My mom (Leanne C Eller) is still missing after 9 months and I grew up there. This has made me never want to come back and see my childhood friends or my childhood towns because theyre full of crime. If it’s not the kids that grew up there having trauma, then it was their parents. Things got worse because nothing was done about past crimes. Things like this take steps. Humboldt PD need to realize they need to stop harassing civilians and start realizing what’s the deep connection with all of these pointless crimes. Search warrents are nice for certain people being suspected for certain crimes.

It is beyond me why Leanne Clen Eller is not classified as an endangered missing person. What happened to giving people the benefit of the doubt in a limited information case? She has been missing for about twenty months. What was Eller’s relationship with her boyfriend? What was she doing when she was last seen? Who last saw her? Did she actually hitch a ride? If so, who did she hitch a ride with? Did Eller know anyone who would have any motive to harm her? Do you have any information concerning the whereabouts of Leanne Clen Eller? Do you have any information concerning the person (s) involved in her disappearance?
