Katrina’s mother has included this comment in a post about her daughter’s case when her missing daughter had turned 15 in March 2017.

..we live in a small town, with small resources, and she is just now being listed (by the police finally) as “missing”. We have said since the beginning that she was missing, but only now that she has been gone and NOBODY has heard from her for so long, are they changing it from “runaway”, and we are finding out that it wasn’t “missing” because there was “no immediate evidence of foul play”…it has been BEYOND frustrating. We are trying to figure out how to do all of this, so we deeply appreciate any help!!

Find Missing Katrina Treacy!

Katrina Lorene Treacy has been missing for a year and five months. Her loved ones are spending a second Christmas fearing for her safety and not knowing where she is. I find it unfortunate that the information on their website is all copyrighted. Should such information, vital to bringing this girl home, be protected? When she is missing? As the mother keeps her Facebook profile set to private, it’s impossible to gain insight on her daughter’s case. So, in a sense, information remains limited for a disappearance that tragically has continued for over 17 months. Katrina was initially classified as an endangered runaway. But if her disappearance is voluntary, wouldn’t she have contacted her distraught loved ones on Christmas Day?
