This is one more of many “few details are available” cases. But in Boswell’s case, research shows that she has family members who are missing her. So information isn’t quite as limited in Boswell’s case as in other missing persons cases. An article headline (the article has been removed) indicates that Boswell’s family feel that race affected her search. It probably did. Missing persons searches are unequal. And it isn’t race alone that is a disadvantage. Being over 17, male, physically unattractive, working-class or poor are also disadvantages. Boswell’s family deserve answers after almost 13 years of silence, waiting, wondering, fears, and knowing nothing about their missing loved one’s whereabouts.

Do you have any information concerning the whereabouts of JoJo Boswell? Do you have any information concerning the person (s) responsible for her disappearance? If you have information, please contact the Minneapolis Police Department at: (612) 673-5373 or: (612) 673-5703.
