It was September 1, 2002 in Derby, Kansas. This was the date when Jennifer l.Wilson was last seen. Reportedly, she argued with her roommate. They were at the club where she worked. After they got back home, they kept arguing. Wilson’s roommate left the residence. When she returned, Wilson was gone. Jennifer took none of her personal belongings with her. Items left behind included her vehicle and her dog. Reportedly, Jennifer worked as an exotic dancer in the past. Neither Jennifer Wilson or her body have ever been found. But police believe that she may have been the victim of a homicide. In June 2013, Jennifer Wilson was declared legally dead.

This is a heartbreaking case. My Facebook and Internet searches yielded few results. Facebook brought up only one result. Internet searches didn’t bring up much more. Jennifer’s case proves that missing persons searches are unequal. Is part of the reason her past reported occupation as an exotic dancer? It seems that there have been no robust effort to push awareness for her. As in every missing case, I’m sure there are those who love her and miss her. Nothing is known about her family. Every missing person is equally important. And someone (s) knows something about what happened to Wilson.

  1. Thank you to whom ever wrote this ,the fact that she was a dancer shouldn’t make any difference to the fact that someone hurt her ,the first officers that handle or should I say miss handled her case did so because she was only a dancer they never even went to the bank for drive thru pictures or checked up on anything her roommate had to say ! So again who ever wrote this thank you for trying .
