Find missing Gebar Lynon Byrd Jr! Gebar Lynons Byrd Jr. has been missing since March 22, 2010. He is missing from University City, Missouri. Gabar is classified as an endangered missing person. This child was born in the year 2008. At the time of his disappearance, Gebar was a year old. His current age is eight years old. But no age-progression image seems to be available. Gebar Lynon Byrd Jr. is described as Biracial. He is an African-American male of Hispanic ethnicity.

At the time of his disappearance, Gebar Byrd was 2’3″ in height and 26 pounds. The child has black hair and brown. It’s unknown what Gebar was wearing at the time of his disappearance.

It was March 22, 2010. The place was in University, Missouri. At the time of his disappearance, Gebar lived with his mother and father. His mom’s name was Yasmin Rodriguez. His dad’s name is Gebar Byrd Sr. They lived in the 6600 block of Crest. The parents had been together about six to eight years by 2006. However, they had never married. According to Gebar Byrd Sr., Yasmin Rogriguez took Gebar and left after an argument. He stated that she had “done something” a year before. And at the time, she stayed with relatives for about a month. Thus he wasn’t concerned about her or her son.

Father A Suspect

Relatives of Gebar Byrd Jr. reported both little Gebar and his mother missing on March 20. The mother’s body was found in the Mississippi River in St. Louis, Missouri on April 4. According to authorities, there were no signs of trauma. This was their original belief. However, on closer examination. they found a cut on the mother’s forehead. And they found bruises on her arms. Bruises could also be found on her legs and torso. In late May, Gebar Sr. was charged with her murder and with Gebar’s murder.

The Crime

Investigators state that Gebar Byrd., Sr, had pushed his wife into the river as she held Gebar in her arms. THe River into which the father pushed them is the river at Riverwand and Spring Garden Drive. Both Gebar and his mother drowned. Investigators stated that the father had confessed to the crime. At first, Gebar Byrd Sr. claimed that Rodriguex had intentionally killed their son. And then she took her own life. According to Rodriguez’s family, the couple had a rocky relationship. And Gebar Sr. had assaulted his wife before. She had thought he was unfaithful and intended to end their relationship.

In October 2011, Gebar Sr. was convicted. He was convicted of second-degree murder in his wife’s death. And he was convicted of Involuntary Manslaughter for Gebar’s death. The father was also convicted of child endangerment. He was also convicted of second-degree domestic assault. Gebar Byrd Sr. was sentenced to life in prison for the murder. And he was sentenced to three consecutive seven-year sentences for the other crimes. At his trial, his defense stated that his confession was coerced.

The mother of Gebar Byrd, Sr., believes that her grandson is still alive. She feels this way because his birth certificate and other documents couldn’t be found after his disappearance.
