She was initially initially classified as a runaway and now is classified as an endangered missing person. At the time of her disappearance, Debbie is 13 years old. Her current age is 59 years old. Lowe was born in the year 1958. Debbie is a Caucasian female. At the time of her disappearance, Lowe was 5’5″ tall and weighed 125 pounds. She has long brown hair, past her shoulders. Her eyes are brown.

Debora Sue Lowe reportedly is right-handed. She has a chipped front tooth and a scar on her left knee. When she was last seen, Debbie was wearing a yellow top and black pants with rose-colored stripes. And she was wearing a tan poncho. Debbie also was wearing jewelry when last seen. She was wearing a ring. The center had an aquamarine stone in the center and a flower shaped with eight petals. In the middle of petal there was a blue dot. The band and the wire that went around the petals was gold. The petal was a off white or egg shell color.

It was leap year when Debora Sue Lowe was last seen. On February 29, 1972. Debbie was last seen walking to school between 7:30 and 8:30 in the morning. Her books were found in a trash can. It was one block from her family home. According to family members, law enforcement initially thought that Debbie had run away from her new home. And they thought she was going back to Wirt County. But Debbie’s family members didn’t believe she would ever do that. Reportedly, she had no history of running away and left behind all her personal belongings.

A suspect has been named in the disappearance of Debora Sue Lowe. His name is Schaefer. He is known as one of Florida’s most brutal serial killers. It is considered a strange coincidence but, reportedly, Debbie may have known Gerald Schaefer. This serial killer had worked with Debbie’s father. Reportedly, he was in the family home before and after Debbie disappeared.
