Find Missing Andreas Marts! Andreas Marts has been missing since July 7 16, 2017. He is missing from Leavenworth, Kansas. Andreas Mart is classified as an endangered missing person. He is a Caucasian male. His hair is brown and his eyes are brown. Marts is described as 5’10 to 6’2″ tall at the time of his disappearance. He was described as 150 to 170 pounds at the time of his disappearance. Marts may have surgical screws and hardware. He may also have wires and bone fasteners on his upper and lower jaws. Marts also may have dental anomalies. And his face may appear deformed. It is unknown what Marts was wearing at the time of his disappearance.

Descriptions
Andreas Marts suffers from schizophrenia. And he had been released from the hospital shortly before his disappearance. He was agitated and delusional at the time he went missing. Marts also has Parry-Romberg Syndrome. This a rare disease that causes progressive shrinkage and degeneration of the tissues beneath the skin on one side of the face. He has undergone multiple reconstructive surgeries as a result of the condition. Marts may have surgical screws and hardware, wires and bone fasteners on his upper and lower jaws, as well as dental anomalies, and his face may appear deformed.

Circumstances
Andreas Marts was last seen in Leavenworth, Kansas. He disappeared on July 16, 2010. He was very agitated and told his loved ones he was going to cleanse himself in the river for God. His car, shoes and wallet were later found near the boat ramp at Riverfront Park in Leavenworth. He has never been heard from again. The Missouri River runs through the city. At the time of Marts’ disappearance, the river was higher than it had been in decades. And the flooding ultimately killed dozens of people. Because of the circumstances of his case, authorities believe Marts is deceased.

Andreas Marts has been missing for over seven years. He is missing with multiple medical needs. Each one alone can make him a vulnerable missing adult. Missing persons searches are unequal. It is sad whenever any person disappears. What is even sadder is when little seems to be done to look for them. When information is so limited that very little can be found in searches, it raises questions about their searches. Surely someone (s) somewhere is missing Andreas Marts. He is someone’s son and may be someone’s father. Andreas was a young man at the time he went missing. At this time, in his early thirties, he is still young. Andreas’ family deserve answers. They need to know what happened.
