Find missing Ade Prince!

Ade Prince, 13 years old
Brooklyn, New York
Last seen November 4th, 2019

The mother of a 13-year-old Brooklyn boy issued a heartrending plea to her son on Sunday: “We love you. Just come home.”

Ade Prince, an eighth-grader at Exceed Charter School in Crown Heights, was seen with two male friends by a friend of his mother’s around midday Friday after he initially went missing on a Coney Island-bound Q train, said his mom, Yvonne King-Prince.

Ade told his mother’s friend he was on his lunch break, King-Prince, 53, told the Daily News.

But the navy blue sweatsuit Ade wore was not in line with his the yellow and beige uniform he would have worn at school, the worried mother said.

She called the police — “the cops didn’t follow through,” King-Prince said through tears.

The boy’s heartbroken mother said she has barely slept since his disappearance. It’s the second time the boy has gone missing in two years, said police.

Asked what she would say to young Ade, the boy’s mom said:

“Listen, baby, we love you. Just come home. If there’s any situation that you’re worried about or you think you’re in trouble, it doesn’t matter what. Come home. We love you. We’ll figure it out.”

Some of Ade’s friends told his parents that a group of students went to Prospect Park after school on Nov. 4. They said they last saw him the that night, near his home on Woodruff Ave. near Flatbush Ave. in Flatbush.

“One of the young men said they walked him pretty close to home and said bye,” his mother said. “But he didn’t come in.”

Though Ade never came home that day, his parents waited until the following morning — November 5 — to file a missing person’s report.

“I stayed up all night. I just waited,” King-Prince said. “I called the school a day after when he still didn’t come home.”

The day he went missing, Ade wore a black jacket, gray pants, black sneakers, and glasses with a black and orange frame. He is approximately 4-foot-11 and weighs about 80 pounds, said police.

King-Prince, who described her son as “eloquent” and “smart,” said she has not been able to sleep since he went missing. “Ade is one of the best kids that you would know. Very respectful — he’s not rude,” she said.
