Circumstances

Aaron Mitchell Anderson was last seen playing in his family’s yard. He was last seen at approximately 4:30 P.M. on April 7, 1989 in Pine City, Minnesota. His mother left him unattended for a couple of minutes. And he disappeared. He has never been seen again and an extensive search of the area turned up no signs of him. Aaron’s family’s residence bordered the Snake River. Authorities believe the child may have fallen in the water and drowned. However, Aaron’s parents believe their son was abducted. They have criticized the police investigation into the child’s disappearance. Investigators admitted they focused on the drowning theory and ignored over twenty leads pointing to other possibilities. Aaron’s parents moved to St. Paul, Minnesota after his disappearance. And they continue to search for their son. His case remains open and unsolved.

Appeal

Aaron Mitchell Anderson has been missing for almost 29 years. He will sadly reach his 29th annual missing date in early April 2018. Because he lived near a body of water, investigators focused on the drowning theory for too long. They admit this. If his whereabouts were in that river, Aaron may well have been found by now. It is tragic that foul play was not investigated at the time. Aaron’s story and outcome may have been different. So if he didn’t drown, was he abducted? Is he alive and being raised as someone else? Is he living under an alias and unaware of who he is? Someone (s) knows something! The family of this long-lost missing boy need, want, and deserve answers.
