Opinion

Maarib Al Hishmawi has been missing for over a month. It seems that authorities are treating her missing case differently from that of the overwhelming majority of missing teen girl cases. Whether runaway or abducted, police focus primarily on locating the subject of a missing investigation. They don’t typically reveal that the missing teen is or may be a victim of abuse. And they don’t talk about ensuring that a missing teen is in a safe environment while investigating her disappearance. But they are with Maarib Al Hishmawi. ACcording to the press release, her father disputes the theory of authorities. They feel that Maarib may have been abducted. Is racial profiling occurring in Maarib’s cases? Do you know the whereabouts of Maarib Al Highmawi? Do you have any information concerning the person (s) responsible for her mysterious disappearance?
