She is described as 5’4″ tall and she weighs 150 pounds. This suspect isn’t described as having known birthmarks, scars, tattoos, or piercings.

Victim Description

Daniel Ray Markus is the alleged victim of Maria Evelia Cabrera-Gutierrez, his non-custodial mother. He was born in 2012. His place of birth is not provided. He is a Caucasian male of Hispanic ethnicity. At his disappearance, Daniel was 2’7″ tall and he weighed 22 pounds. Daniel’s hair is light brown. His eyes are brown. Daniel Ray Markus is not described as having scars, birthmarks, tattoos, or piercings.

Maria Evelia Cabrera-Gutierrez is wanted by the FBI. She is wanted for the alleged kidnapping of her son, Daniel Ray Markus. At his disappearance, Daniel was two years old. Daniel was abducted from Pennsylvania. It occurred in 2014. In August of 2014, Cabrera-Gutierrez was ordered by a court in Reading, Pennsylvania, to share custody of Daniel with the boy’s father. Cabrera-Gutierrez violated that order by fleeing the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania by bus with Daniel on November 14, 2014.

Here is what happened after Maria Evelia Cabrera-Gutierrez fled with Daniel Ray Markus. She reportedly arrived in San Antonio, Texas the day after the abduction. And she may have been headed to Mexico. On November 19, 2014, Cabrera-Gutierrez was charged with Interference with Custody of Children. She was also charged with Concealment of the Whereabouts of a Child. These charges were in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Berks County. And a warrant was issued for Maria’s arrest.

On November 24, 2014, a federal arrest warrant was issued for Cabrera-Gutierrez. The warrant was issued in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, Allentown, Pennsylvania, after she was charged with unlawful flight to avoid
